WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar will present its 18th edition from the 4th to the 9th of June this year. As the most prominent tennis tournament in the region, it attracts the most famous names in women’s tennis.
For the first 15 successful years, the tournament was held on the island of Brač. Then Lukas Sport, headed by Feliks Lukas, decided to move it to this Dalmatian town where the mountain meets the sea.
Every June, a spectacle is organized in the tennis center located only a few meters from the sea. It is a fantastic combination of premium sports and entertainment.
Small, but well-put Lukas Sport team always has an ace up its sleeve. Last year, that was globally famous pianist Lola Astanova. This musician, who has more than 1,3 million followers on Instagram, played a few compositions in the finals. She even shot some scenes on the Skywalk, a unique lookout on Biokovo Mountain, for her latest video.
This June, the viewers can expect a new surprise.
