Makarska elementary school students filled Kačić Square. Sportily dressed and eager, eager to play, the tennis players of the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar were waiting to appear and play a few points with them at the Kid's day of the good friendship between Makarska and the WTA tournament.

Three, two, one. Great start to Kid's day as part of the WTA Makarska Open.
More than a hundred girls and boys gathered when the players arrived, Dea Herdželaš, Tena Lukas, Anastazija Potapova, Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and Antonija Ružić.
"Let's do the warm-up first," said Elena's voice, an animator from the Valamar hotel group.
Immediately, circles started in the square, and then a side run, so that everyone could warm up properly.
"What do we do first," Elena asked.
"Head," came a quick response from the crowd.
When all the joints were "oiled", tennis started. Tena, Dea, Anastasia, Antonija and Anna Karolina feasted in a beautiful setting in the center of Makarska with a bunch of children.
"This is a really nice event, I'm surprised how many children there were. Congratulations to the organizers, it is a nice feeling to be at this tournament ", said Dea Herdželaš, the best tennis player from BiH.
"Last year was the best for me so far, I hope there will be no injuries and all the work is slowly paying off," said Dea, who trains in Sarajevo under the wake of Ismara Gorčić.
Just in the midst of the fight of young Makarans and guests against the tennis player, someone's voice broke out: Freeeee ice-creeeam!
Emerging young tennis players did not resist the call, but they deserved it. They have already done a good workout, it's time to "spice it up" with ice cream. A few more points were played, and then a joint photo on Kačić Square with the incredible Biokovo in the background. This seems to be the beginning of a wonderful friendship between Makarska and the WTA Tour.
