Tomorrow, Makarska is cheering for Ana Konjuh

In the first match of the day on the central court, Antonia Ružić was defeated by the Italian Jasmine Paolini 6:4, 6:3. The young Croatian representative put up a lot of resistance, but the Italian is in great shape and successfully won.

Unfortunately, our tennis players, young Petra Marčinko and Tena Lukas, also had a bad day. Marcinko lost to the French tennis player Diana Parry 6:2, 6:4, while Lukas lost to the experienced Swede Rebecca Peterson 6:0, 6:1.

One of the biggest stars of the tournament, Kristina Mladenović, after numerous missed opportunities, was also defeated at the start of the tournament by Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl with a score of 7:5, 6:1.

We should praise the atmosphere in the stands, which was great, and we also noticed former "Vatreni" Ivan Klasnić, who was delighted with the tournament.

The matches of the second round are scheduled for tomorrow, and in an attractive evening time at 20:00 on the central court of the Makarska Tennis Center, the Croatian representative Ana Konjuh will play against the Swede Rebecca Peterson.
