At the press conference, tournament director Feliks Lukas announced which tennis players were given invitations: Petra Marčinko, Tena Lukas, Antonia Ružić, Krisitna Dmitruk and additional invitations for TOP 50 tennis players - Mayar Sherif, Martina Trevisan. Our tennis players like Ana Konjuh, Jane Fett and Tara Wurth are also on the registration list, who still have a chance to play in Makarska, depending on the results at Roland Garros.
Tennis fans can buy tickets through the Adriaticket system, and all sales proceeds will be donated to the Makarska association Mucrum for the purchase of the first therapy dog that will facilitate work with children with developmental disabilities.
In addition to a strong sports segment, the WTA Makarska Open also has a rich entertainment program, the world-famous pianist Lola Astanova will play in the Tennis Center and will record an official video during her visit to Makarska. Next, local stars Albina, Cambi and the Slovenian DJ duo Vanillaz will perform, and an attractive program is also organized on the main square of Makarska as part of WTA City.
