On the eve of the grand final, the exhibition match between Šima Elez and Miloš Mićević from the show Mr. Perfect, Marino Vrgoč, winner of The Voice Kids Croatia, will also sing.
Makarska, June 7, 2025 - Great semi-final matches at the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar. Both in three sets. Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva, a nineteen-year-old tennis player from Andorra, who defeated Petra Marčinko in the quarterfinals, qualified for the finals. In a marathon match against Serbian tennis player Lola Radivojević, after almost three and a half hours she won 6:7 (2), 7:5, 6:4.


In the second semi-final, it seemed that the first seed of the tournament, Australian Maya Joint, would win smoothly. However, the Czech Sara Bejlek managed to get back into the game and in the end she won with 2:6, 7:5, 6:2. The wind at her back was the Czech tourists who cheered her on from the stands.


The Czech women also celebrated in the doubles final. Miriam Kolodziejova and Jesika Malečkova beat Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova and Russian Elena Pridakina with 2:6, 6:3, (10:4). The cup was presented to them by Melissa Pine, vice president for global program development in the WTA, who stays in the city of Pod Biokov during the week of the tournament and follows every match.


We will find out tomorrow whether Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva or Sara Bejlek will win the fourth Makarska Open hosted by Valamar. The final starts at 8 p.m., but before the match, tennis fans can expect a real spectacle. Šime Elez and Miloš Mićević from RTL's show Gospodin Savrseni will fight for the victory in an exhibition match, Marino Vrgoč will also sing, and it will all end with a concert "U ritmu đemojica" (To the Rhythm of Emotions) by Frajli.
