A tense game, but the winner is one - Jasmine Paolini
Italian Jasmine Paolini (25) won the first place at this year's WTA Croatian Bol Open. With an excellent game against the Dutch Arantxa Rus 6-2, 7-6 (4) she won the winning title of one of the two WTA tournaments she played.
Paolini lost in the final of the WTA 125k tournament in Saint-Malo, France in May, but was aware she was playing worse. She was ready to give her best and fight to the end at the Bol tournament.
Paolini said that this is the best period in her career and that she is gaining more confidence to play on the WTA level. She doesn’t have a lot of hobbies, he reveals to us. She likes to watch TV series and read, and on the tournaments enjoys different landscapes - in Bol she enjoys the sea.
