After the third day of the tournament, Croatia still has a representative in the individual competition.
The third day of the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar tournament has ended, and Croatia still has one representative in the singles competition.
Croatian tennis player Ana Konjuh made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament without a fight, after Rebecca Petersson surrendered the match to her due to an injury.
Ana has had numerous injury problems in the past, so she surely knows how her opponent feels now. We can say that Ana deserved a little happiness. Tomorrow, she will play on the center court with the last winner of the WTA tournament in Bol, the Italian Jasmine Paolini.
Of the other matches, the passage of the first seed Noskova should be singled out, while Sheriff and Sramkova won as expected.
The tournament continues tomorrow at the tennis center in Makarska.
