WTA Makarska Open brings together 22 players from the TOP 100 in the never stronger edition of the tournament

This year's edition of the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar, which will take place from May 30 to June 5, is the strongest tournament in the world in the WTA125 category. It will host 22 players ranked in the top 100 best in the world. Invitations were handed to Croatian tennis players Antonija Ružić and Tena Lukas, and Marijana Dražić from Makarska will also play in pairs.

Defending champion Jasmine Paolini, last year's finalist and top-ranked Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus, and eight-time Grand Slam winner Kristina Mladenović from France, the world number one in the doubles rankings from 2019 and the top 10 players from 2017, will play at Valamar's tennis courts in Makarska.

Clara Burel is coming from France, who at the age of 19, in 2020, played the third round of Roland Garross. Marta Kostyuk, Ukrainian young star under the leadership of our celebrated ace Ivan Ljubičić, Anna Bondar, the best Hungarian tennis player, Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, one of the best "country girls" will also perform.

The tournament is a step forward in terms of organization and logistics, and this effort has been recognized, which can be seen in the applications of tennis players, because this year we have 22 tennis players from the top 100, while last year we had 13.
